Senior Maintenance Controller — BOEING & AIRBUS

Our client, a reputable airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently recruiting Senior Maintenance Controllers to join the airline as permanent employees. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

Position

The Senior Maintenance Controller position is a key role within the airlines Engineering department. The role is responsible for the 24/7 technical worldwide operational management of the airline fleet.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the delivery of a safe, compliant, on-time, defect-free and customer centric operation to the airline through proactive defect management, providing on the spot decisions and airworthiness judgements to flight crew and line maintenance engineers in the air, and on the ground.
• Monitoring of aircraft defect alerts and overseeing MROs and line stations for proper troubleshooting and rectification of defects.
• Identifying technical and maintenance risks to the planned operation.
• Driving OEMs and Engineering operational teams to deliver quality technical support services.

Requirements

Please apply if you meet the below criteria:

• Minimum 10 years certifying experience on any aircraft type.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Maintenance Control position.
• Holder of EASA B1.1 or B2 licence with appropriate type ratings, or equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction.
• Proven work experience in the field of aircraft defect troubleshooting with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Terms

The position of Senior Maintenance Controller carries a basic annual around the equivalent of $8,000 to $10,500 per month (depending on experience) plus a full set of benefits (annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits, discretionary bonus and profit share).
