Altitude are recruiting for the position of Regional Station Engineer based at our Brussels Line Station. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance and being one of our country-based managers in Belgium, the Regional Station Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all commitments to customers, local engineers, mechanics and regulatory authorities are delivered for the three Belgian Stations (BRU/LGG/OST) and that the work performed is compliant, safe, and efficient. This position is a key part of our operation in Belgium and is in place to enable / support the line maintenance team and set the conditions in which the station can continue to grow, effectively recruit and retain engineers / mechanics and be a safe, compliant & effective industry leader in the Belgian Line Maintenance field.

About you:

• A Good people manager and communicator.
• Experienced in Line Maintenance with a background as a licensed engineer at supervisor or manager level.
• The ability to be assertive where needed, but also motivate others in the team.
• A demonstrable ability to think and plan ahead.
• Experience working in a Part 145 environment with a good grasp of the regulation.

Deliverables:

• Effective day to day management of the Belgian Part 145 operation.
• Achieving excellent working relationships internally and externally and be considered a good communicator.
• Maintaining appropriate levels of compliance and safety, leading locally the company SMS efforts for the Belgian operation.
• Recruitment, motivation, development and retention of engineers and mechanics working in Belgium.
• Ensuring planning of the workforce well in advance so that the engineers / mechanics can maintain a good work life balance and the needs of the operation are consistently met.
• Being an effective conduit between HQ and the Belgian operation, and assisting commercial with business development when needed.
