Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to lead a team responsible for structural modifications and depot-level maintenance. In this role, you'll oversee production schedules, quality, and costs—driving operational improvements and ensuring on-time delivery. You’ll lead a skilled team and collaborate across departments, vendors, and customers to improve systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of professionals handling aircraft structural modifications.
Oversee production operations, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule goals are met.
Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, process, and efficiency.
Support cross-functional efforts in areas like materials, manufacturing systems, and process re-engineering.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external customers.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the development of, performance metrics in key areas such as Quality, Cost and Schedule.
Analyze such metrics and be able to identify trends and provide corrective action when applicable
Facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in "core skills" areas to team members and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
Support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment
Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including total quality management, manufacturing systems, material management, and process re-engineering
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of aviation maintenance (e.g. FAA Part 121, 135, 145, etc.) management and leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft Electrical and/or Structural modifications and assemblies.
Demonstrated experience navigating aircraft schematics and maintenance manuals as required.
Demonstrated experience planning for depot-level maintenance and baseline modifications on various airframes.
Ability to work off shifts and overtime as business demands
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active OR Prior Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel.
