We are seeking a proactive and experienced CAMO Manager to lead our clients Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) function. This is a unique opportunity designed as a pathway to the Nominated Postholder for Continuing Airworthiness, subject to CAA/EASA/competent authority approval.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining the airworthiness of Volare’s managed fleet and ensuring the safety and compliance of their operations.

The CAMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing aircraft airworthiness, maintenance planning, and compliance with regulatory standards, while also managing the CAMO department staff and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

The role would progress, based on experience towards a Deputy CAM and subsequent CAM Nominated Postholder position.

Role Requirements:

MUST:

  • Right to live and work in UKI
  • Ideally be within 60 mins of LOA
  • Part 66 licensed engineer or an aeronautical degree with 5+ years' experience in airworthiness management, or 10+ years' experience in the field (fixed wing experience is mandatory).
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams within a CAMO or airworthiness environment.
  • A robust understanding of Part CAMO, Part 145, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • A methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in using CAMP software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Financial commercial awareness, ensuring cost-effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC Clearance.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Exposure to a wide variety of airworthiness related activities.

COULD:

  • Aviation Human Factors training and completion of Part CAMO & Part 145 Training Courses
  • Eligibility to perform airworthiness reviews in accordance with 2-REG, EASA, FAA, UK CAA requirements.
  • Previous Nominated Person (Form 4 Holder)
  • Have previous rotary experience
