Director - Flight Operations Crew Scheduling

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

·       Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Operations Research, Transportation, or related area

·       10+ years of relevant experience

·         5+ years of operational experience

·         2+ years of leadership experience

·       Problem solving, continuous improvement, and strong communication skills

·       Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without   sponsorship

·       Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

·       Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

·       Advanced Degree in Logistics, Operations Research, Transportation, or related area

·       5+ years of operational experience in Crew Scheduling or similar area

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and transforming all aspects of pilot crew scheduling and coordination for the worldwide pilot population
• Serves as a resource for and represents Flight Operations on the company's negotiating team when require
• Directs the management of daily and short-range pilot schedules, the reassignment of pilots on a system basis, and coverage to ensure customer-focused, cost-effective, and consistent administration of schedules
• Directs communication and coordination with System Operations Control to minimize recovery from schedule disruptions
• Ensure pilot crew schedulers are trained and proficient in the application of the pilot contract, FARs and associated systems used in the daily operation
• Identify and implement process enhancements and scheduling efficiencies
