I have a tricky question I hope someone can answer.

I’m in the holding pool and awaiting a start date. I know we need to get 3 months notice before the start date so I obvs haven’t had notice yet. I have a potential short contract being offered to me with work I am currently in for more money to save up before I begin with easyJet.

My question is, if I take it, the contract ends in April. If easyJet call me for training now, then 3 months takes me to Feb training start date. It will clash with small contract which unfortnueately I couldn’t break once I sign that short contract as its quite specific in nature. Can I defer easyJet or will I need to reapply again?

Thing is, if I dont take the short contract, and easyJet dont call me till April, then I’m losing out on some good money that I can save up. Feeling lost what to do as it all depends on my training.

Can anyone help where this has happened to you or someone you know in the past?

Hello,

You can decline your training date and you will be called when another is available. However in doing this, you could increase your wait for training by A LOT and there is no guarantee Easyjet will offer you another training date within a year as you declined the other meaning you will then have to reapply.
