Aviation Job Search attends Flight Crew Futures and MRO Europe

This week, the Aviation Job Search team attended two major aviation events, Flight Crew Futures in London, and MRO Europe in Amsterdam.

Exhibiting at Flight Crew Futures for the first time, the team were on hand to speak directly with pilots searching for a new direction in their career. Held at the Hilton at London Gatwick, the event is billed as a “unique opportunity to get all the facts, career advice and answers in an informal environment.”

The drop in format included presentations throughout the day from some of the world’s biggest airlines, including Emirates, Aer Lingus and Ryanair. The presentations provided a comprehensive overview of current flight crew requirements, salary packages and employment terms.

Over in Amsterdam, our Managing Director, Dave Capper, was accompanied by our MRO specialist, Seriena Levi Johnrose, and Senior Account Manager, Natasha Metcalf.

Capper said, “It’s been another fantastic show at MRO Europe, hosted in a great city. It’s important for us to be at these events, meet with our clients face to face and to build long lasting relationships.”

During the event, Principal at ICF International, Joost Groenenboom declared that he expected “the global MRO market to grow by 4.6% per annum to $118 billion by 2027, up from $75.5 billion in 2017.”

He continued, “Asia is now a larger market than both North America and Europe and looking further ahead, by 2037 it will generate 38% of MRO demand. In western Europe there will also still be growth, but it will be relatively marginal, rising by 3.3% per year to $26.5 billion in 10 years’ time.”
