Position Summary

Tigua Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Tech to support our contract with the Weapons Survivability Laboratory (WSL) and will perform routine tasks under close supervision or by following detailed procedures, supporting engineering operations for the WSL contract. This role involves assembling, testing, recording data, and assisting senior personnel with engineering-related tasks. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble or construct simple or standard aircraft components following specific instructions.
  • Service or repair basic aircraft instruments and equipment as required.
  • Conduct various tests using established methods, including preparing test specimens, adjusting and operating test equipment, and recording test data.
  • Identify and report deviations caused by equipment malfunctions or observational errors.
  • Extract engineering data from prescribed but non-standardized sources and process the data using well-defined methods.
  • Apply elementary algebra and geometry to analyze and present engineering data in the required format.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical procedures, and quality standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree within at least one of the following subjects: Electrical/Electronic engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Mechanical engineer, Physicist, or Systems Engineer. An *Associate’s degree plus 6 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, testing, or engineering support.
  • Familiarity with standard aircraft systems, instruments, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic proficiency in algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and under supervision.
