Time down route depends on your roster. All trips are layovers. The shorter flights that depart daily (or more) usually carry a 24 hour layover.
E.g. LHR - JFK on Monday, stay in New York Monday night, JFK - LHR Tuesday, land back to London on Wednesday morning, typically.
However some flights have a 48 hour layover, e.g. San Fran, LA, Hong Kong. And then some flights which are less frequent, e.g. Caribbean, can come with a 4 - 6 night layover.
When we are down route we are paid allowances in $ for our sustenance, and we get Trip Pay per sector.
Hope this helps. Good luck with any application / assessment day!
Hey! I always choose proven airlines. This helps me a lot when planning my flight and when I turn to https://businessclassconsolidator.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-greece/ I understand how important this is. After that, that's all I do.
