We are looking for a Stores Supervisor for a role that's based in Glasgow, for a market leading organisation within the aviation industry.
Main Responsibilities of Position:
- Aid the Supply Chain and Engineering Service Line whilst on shift under a 5/5/4 arrangement ( 12 hour shifts )
- The completion of all warehouse administrative tasks inclusive of managing shelf-life items, stock rotation, calibration of tooling and tyre rotation. Including daily, weekly and monthly checks as required to maintain the facility / warehouse IAW CAA, FAA & EASA regulations.
- Act as the focal point for all Dangerous Goods movement in Scotland.
- Aviation warehousing experience with an excellent knowledge of warehousing protocol and practices.
- Computer literate and have the ability to grasp new process and procedures
- Ability to provide and follow instructions efficiently and accurately
- Qualified in Dangerous Goods (DG), hold a driving licence and forklift licence
- Have the ability to use excel for the dissemination of information.
- Key knowledge of maintaining a parts department
