My client is based just north of Oxford. They are now seeking a Quality and Compliance Monitoring Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
The Quality and Compliance Monitoring Officer will assist in auditing and all other supporting activities to ensure Quality & Regulatory compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory & customer requirements.
They will ensure that quality standards are met for all aviation requirements and for the issuance of Tier 4 Visas to foreign students.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with relevant experience from any highly regulated industry.
Perform the day-to-day Quality Auditing and Compliance Monitoring functions within the organisation.
Create control elements for the control of all regulatory required documents, manuals, procedures/processes and data which are required to achieve regulatory compliance.
Own, control and issue internally and externally controlled documents and their revisions.
Use a Document Management System as a control tool utilizing the functionality of SharePoint, IT networks and other access control systems.
Act as Secretary for regular Document Review Meetings.
Ensure that all employees are adequately equipped with QA/CM Training as appropriate.
Participate in regular QA/CM team conference calls and meetings.
Oversee the day to day ownership and continuous improvement of the Quality & Compliance Management System Technical Library.
Assist in ensuring the implementation & maintenance of an effective Document Management System.
Contribute to the development & improvement of local, global & regional quality management strategies and plans.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in Compliance and Assurance related work and processes.
Experience in Technical Library and Document Control related work and processes.
Have strong inter-personal, communication and presentation skills. Has a good negotiation skill and one with the ability to compile reports to a high standard.
Be team focused.
Be proactive and have strong planning skills to be able assist in turning issues and problems into solutions with the proven ability to meet timescales.
Self-motivated and takes initiative to lead rather than be led.
Operates with integrity and trust.
Previous Compliance/Quality Assurance experience.
Experience of working directly with regulators, Certification Bodies and other Standards organisations.
Demonstrable knowledge of latest Quality Standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
Have sound working knowledge of standard MS Office products and the ability to learn new systems.
A proactive self-starter with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of EASA regulations would be beneficial but not esential at all.
Some domestic and overseas travel may be required.
