Job role: Workshop Wheel and Brake Mechanic
Job Location: West Sussex
Start as soon as possible until approx. November 2018 (Mon-Fri)
Own transport essential as no public transport to the location.
Our client, a leading provider of wheel and brake services for the aviation industry, currently have a requirement for a Wheel and Brake Mechanic to join them on a temporary basis until approx. the end of November 2018 with an immediate start.
·To carry out all repairs, maintenance and overhauls of aircraft wheels and brakes in accordance with approved documentation and to correct quality standards
·To assist Workshop Manager with any task delegated and to assist with supervision of the team
·To carry out approved maintenance, repair and overhaul within a Wheels and Brakes Workshop
·Work to ensure that all safety precautions and procedures are in place
·Ensure that the workshop environment and any working area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
·Previous workshop wheels and brakes experience essential with the ability to certify (e.g. a previous EASA Form One signatory or licensed engineer)
. Experience of suprvising a small team would be very beneficial
·Good knowledge of workshop procedures and the use of tooling
·Mechanical knowledge gained from an apprenticeship or formal training
·Full Driving License
·Current eligibility to work in the UK
·Fluent English, including technical English
