This program will provide the opportunity to work in two Boeing locations. The initial assignment for selected candidates will be in one of the following locations: Tukwila, WA, St. Louis, MO, or Oklahoma City, OK. The second and final permanent assignment will be located in San Antonio, TX. If selected, candidates will be required to relocate to San Antonio, TX as a condition of employment.
In support of the Program, we are currently seeking entry-level Wire Design Integration Engineers (Level 1) to join the team. As part of the team in the initial assignment location, you will have an opportunity to assist in several functions to become familiar with processes, tools and designs in order to facilitate integration onto the vehicle in San Antonio, TX.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Developing and maintaining cable / wire harness detail and assembly designs
Providing engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)
Understanding processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
Participating in technical review of suppliers to facilitate product delivery, monitoring and acceptance / rejection
Understanding functional and physical input of the complete integrated design
Successful candidates will have solid engineering foundation, understanding of electrical engineering principles, and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (post-start)
* Bachelor's of Science degree or higher
* Experience with Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) tools
* Proven interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
* Experience on aerospace programs highly preferred
* Engineering knowledge and applications experience
* Active / Current Top Secret and / or SSBI U.S. Security Clearance is a PLUS; Please list on your resume for consideration
Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position is ultimately permanently based in San Antonio, TX. However, the initial temporary assignment will be located in either Tukwila, WA, St. Louis, MO, or Oklahoma City, OK. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
