My client manages component repairs for their customers’ aircraft and looks after their warranties, to ensure costs are kept as low as possible. 
They are now seeking a Warranty Engineer to work with their customer onsite in Budapest, Hungary for a 3 year contract.

** Please note candidates must already hold the right to live and work in Hungary prior to application.

Main responsibilities of the Warranty Engineer / Onsite Coordinator:

•    Daily review of airline tech logs to identify and claim compensation for Line Maintenance defects.
•    Assessment of Heavy Maintenance work packs to identify material and labour claims with Original Equipment Manufacturers.
•    Review of Service Bulletins for warranty entitlement associated with industry support and non-industry support claims.
•    Assessment of warranty rejections and liaising with suppliers in order to seek clarification when decisions are unjustified.
•    Analysis and review of expendable equipment to identify individual part claims and quarantines for batch claims.
•    Be able to build multi-level relationships within organisations, both internally and externally.
•    Provide a point of contact for data retrieval, problem resolution and advice.
•    To enforce contractual terms and recover associated benefits. 
•    To apply continuous improvement to develop processes, procedures and systems in order to meet the needs of the customer.
•    Be able to build multi-level relationships within Customer, both internally and externally.
•    Lead/Support periodic program reviews
•    Identify, create and manage warranty claims for component, line maintenance, heavy maintenance and other eligible events
•    To maintain regular verbal & written updates with the UK team


Ideal candidate profile: 
•    Hold a Degree in a Business or Engineering discipline or have relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance or warranty organisation for 2 years+.
•    Strong MS Excel skills.
•    Some AMOS experience is beneficial.
•    Demonstrate sound interpersonal and leadership skills.
•    Strong time management skills, initiative, and a passion for aviation
•    An ability to prioritise multiple projects.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Bi-lingual in English & Hungarian is highly desirable
•    Be able to build multi-level relationships within organisations, both internally and externally.


Additional information: 
•    The Warranty Engineer will be working as part of the Technical Services team.
•    The work will be undertaken both onsite at the customer’s location and from home, with some European travel possible.
