Aircraft Interior Trimmer
SAMS (Stansted Aircraft Maintenance Systems) are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Interior Trimmer to be based at Stansted Airport.
This is a great entry point for persons considering a future Aircraft mechanic/ Engineer position offering the opportunity to gain valuable inside knowledge of the Engineering operation.
Trimmers will get the chance to work on Ryanair’s Modern Boeing 737 NG fleet including the newest Boeing 737 Max aircraft due for delivery in 2019.
The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Carry out PACE (Passenger Cabin Enhancement) and out of phase activities.
Carry out rectifications for aircraft interior defects.
Carry out special requests for aircraft defects raised by Aircraft Appearance Department and ensure rectifications are reported daily.
Assist other Engineering groups
Monitor stock levels of materials required to fulfil duties.
Ensure correct reporting procedures are applied and accurate daily reports are logged and sent to Aircraft Appearance Department.
Carry out Aircraft Exterior Washing and Technical Landing Gear Cleaning
Carry out Aircraft De-icing
Aircraft/Maintenance/Cabin Trim experience is an advantage but not essential
Hand Tool skills are an advantage but not essential
Willing to work night shift
Excellent communication skills
Must have a Full EU Driving Licence
Will be required to take a medical for airside driving permit
Able to work to deadlines under pressure.

Availability to travel
We required trimmers to go on out stations to cover for any trimmer leave performing the PACE program.
