My client is a provider of innovative supply chain management solutions to the aerospace industry, shipping to worldwide destinations.

They are now seeking a Trade Compliance Assistant to be based near Esher, Surrey on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the International Trade Compliance Officer, the successful Trade Compliance Assistant candidate will provide both export & general administration support.


Main responsibilities:
· Preparation and Distribution of Fedex Arrival Report.
· Preparation and communication of customs entry instructions to carriers.
· Update of commodity code classifications and trade compliance data into SAP, including all customs entries.
· Management of Daily Receipt Report, calculation of shipment freight costs and action of all exceptions.
· Management of Daily Removal Report and upload of SDW customs entries to CHIEF.
· Reconciliation of Shipment Declaration and Inbound Delivery valuations.


Ideal candidate profile:
· Previous experience in trade compliance and UK based export is essential
· Aerospace experience preferred
· Excellent administration skills, confidence on the telephone, ability to work to tight deadlines and be adaptable.
· Attention to detail is paramount
· A confident user of SAP, Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook and Power Point essential
· Ability to prioritise workload and be flexible
· Minimum GCSE passes in both maths and English (or the equivalent)


Additional information:
· Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week office based.
· Salary:  £24,000
· Good public transport links (bus and train) and free car parking
· Candidates must already hold the right to live and work in the UK prior to application
