Job title: Tooling Coordinator

Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year. We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for Tooling Coordinator to join the Tooling Team at Birmingham.
The main purpose of the Tooling Coordinator position based at Birmingham is to maintain the day to day availability of required tooling for all planned maintenance. Working closely with Production, Delivery Managers, Check Managers and the tooling team to ensure all tooling is made available for planned in puts when required. Pre-planning requirements from the PCF arranging Loans at competitive rates to cover tooling short falls. Making Tooling loans out of company when appropriate and available and securing competitive loan rates. Carrying out review of loan tooling requirements costs verses purchase cost. Raising indent and Capex for new and replacement tools. Arranging tooling repairs.
The key responsibilities for the Tooling Coordinator position based in Birmingham are;
Continuous review of PCF for tooling requirements. Ensuring tolling is available and serviceable when required across base and line operations.
Arranging timely loans of tooling to cover MAEL short fall and arranging loans out on request.
Review of tooling changes and new items available. Replacing worn and damaged tooling.
Ensuring the tooling safety requirements are maintained.
Undertake project work when requested.
The successful candidate for the Tooling Coordinator position based in Birmingham will have the following attributes;
Demonstrable experience in aircraft tooling or control of aircraft tooling or experienced in aircraft supplies.
Competent in computer systems as used within MRO (AMOS)
In depth knowledge of Aircraft Tooling, Loan & supplies of tooling and aircraft manuals.
Must be able to be a team member in a very challenging environment whilst ensuring tooling availability across multiple locations.
Must be able to research and locate tooling internally and externally.
Must be able to review and understand technical documentation and produce reports upon request.
