Reporting to the Senior Tools Stores Supervisor, the Tool Stores Supervisor is responsible for the direction of the Tools Stores Team ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard at all times and that requirements are actioned appropriate to the level of priority. The Tool Stores Supervisor will ensure that all Tools Stores colleagues work to published Engineering Procedures.
The Tool Stores Supervisor will be responsible for the Tool Stores Team including controlling the day to day requirements of tool control and ensuring any operational requirements are prioritised effectively. Responsibilities include routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance, and ensuring any faulty tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration. All work carried out will be in line with both Jet2.com engineering quality standards as well as EASA Form 1, ISO 9002 practices. You will also be responsible for reviewing any repeat tooling loans and making recommendations with a view to purchase if deemed more cost effective.
The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience managing a team, or have held a similar position of responsibility, in a busy and demanding environment and have excellent organisation skills. Knowledge of aircraft tooling and a adaptable approach to problem solving would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate should be flexible and be willing to support the needs of the operation.
