Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1  License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Advanced Aviation Management Programme (AAMP) QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the position of Theoretical Knowledge Instructor 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in aviation related field or equivalent
  • Have at least 5 years of instructional experience in ATPL level aviation related subjects or equivalent.
  • Confident in the delivery of minimum of three of the subjects related to ATPL Theoretical Knowledge syllabus:
  • Must hold Instructional Techniques / Train the Trainer certificate or equivalent 
  • Holder of CPL/ATPL license or a certificate of having passed the ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects will be an added advantage
  • Experience with relevant airlines Flight Ops knowledge gained through flight engineer or aircraft engineer, dispatch qualification or flight navigator experience
  • Experience in MPL training would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and carry out assignments to completion
  • Ability to create lesson content, assignments, handouts, etc as per requirement
  • International outlook with the ability to deal comfortably with various cultures
