Position Description:

Operation and maintenance of complicated assembly and packaging equipment that includes computer HW/SW, AC/DC drives, Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs and VFD motor controllers, laser welders and vision-guided FANUC robots.

Position Requirements:

Degree or certificate in Electronics, Computer Systems, Engineering Technology or related field
2 years experience in a manufacturing or systems test position
Working knowledge of NEC and safety requirements for industrial machinery
Experience installing, programming and maintaining PLCs, HMIs and motion controllers
Working knowledge of calibration equipment and procedures for electronic equipment
Able to read and interpret mechanical CAD drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Able to accurately record and analyze test results and perform trouble-shooting and repair of equipment
Demonstrated diagnostic and problem solving skills
Prior experience with industrial robotics (FANUC) is a plus
Travel for training in robotics and laser applications
Occasional travel in and outside of the US
Ability to work within a fast paced environment and to adapt to changes due to customer needs
Ability to use machine shop tools for prototype work
Ability to lift, move and set up components, motors and other materials weighing up to 50lbs
