Reporting to the Technical Publications Manager, the Technical Publications Author is responsible for ensuring that all Flight Operations Manuals comply with the requirements of the regulatory authority (EASA/CAA) and aircraft manufacturers.

The Technical Publications Author will look after the Flight Operations Manuals (including Fleet Flying Manuals, Fleet Technical Manuals, Fleets Minimum Equipment List (MEL's), Fleet Quick Reference Handbooks (QRH's) and Operational Staff Instructions (OSI's). You will be responsible for editing and collating the manuals, verifying the current information and including updates provided by Company Flight Operations Management. You will ensure that updates are written clearly and are easy to understand, whilst maintaining compliance with Company policies and industry regulations.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and have an analytical approach. You will be experienced in and have a full understanding of Flight Operations activities - ideally within an Airline. You will have excellent IT skills, having used technical databases previously, and be able to learn new technology quickly.
