Role: Technical Publications Administrator
Pay: Up to £16 PAYE or £20.48 LTD dep on exp
Contract: 12 Months

Purpose of role
As part of the Technical Services Department, the Technical Publications Administrator is responsible for the loading and distribution of technical documentation at Brize Norton.
Responsibilities
You will carry out regular audits and control the distribution of certain elements of the technical data whilst also maintaining storage, archives and publication inventories, both digital and paper.
To manage the distribution of Quarterly Planned and Periodically Unplanned revisions to Aircraft Maintenance Software, ensuring continuity of procedure and process between all Part 145 departments.
To ensure complete availability of any digital media required for continuing airworthiness, including but not limited to: Digital aircraft mapping, navigational databases, FLS software and SB modification software.
To liaise with the operator, to maintain and update all the operational publications for the fleet. Making any physical paper amendments to the books as and when required, issuing new books to the aircraft and collecting old ones.
To catalogue and register any new software relating to the aircraft or aircraft maintenance and store it appropriately in the library so it is available to crews and engineers.
To manage the return, quarantine and destruction of all old revision software and paper manuals stored in the document library.
Skillset
The successful candidate will have experience of database management, ideally within the aviation industry. You will be able to communicate clearly and work methodically delivering to tight timescales. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as a team member.
