Technical Librarian - Aviation.
This expanding global aviation company is seeking a Technical Librarian to manage and maintain all technical documentation, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the company, EASA, UK CAA and other relevant authorities.
You will already have experience of working in a similar role (maybe tech records) within the aviation industry, preferably aircraft maintenance. You will be key in ensuring the accurate handling, storage and dissemination of all essential technical communication and documents. In fulfilling this role you will
Ensure integrity of documents and data through liaison with internal and external teams, including commercial and engineering teams, suppliers, vendors and manufacturers.
Ensure documentation and data updates are appropriately managed, including any notifications of changes to drawings and engineering.
Document and verify publications before ensuring timely distribution and publication according to organisational and regulatory policies.
At group level, support the compliance and engineering departments by ensuring all technical materials are appropriately maintained and managed.
Define and develop information management protocols, workflow processes and approvals under the guidance of the Base Maintenance Manager, Technical Services Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Disseminate library processes and procedures.
Support and train colleagues with library access.
Participate in preparation and conduct of internal and external library audits.
Address non-conformance issues, reporting and managing both corrective and preventative measures.
Manage certification and subscription services.
Be point of contact for all technical library enquiries.
