Role Summary:
The Additive Academy is responsible for building out and executing the world’s premiere additive training program to develop additive capabilities both internal to GE as well as to external customers worldwide. The Technical Instructor will be responsible for curriculum creation and training within the Additive Academy at customer sites or at a GE Additive location. In this role you will become a subject matter expert on the GE Additive products.

Essential Responsibilities:
You will:
• Train customers and GE internal employees on LaserCUSING® machine Operations and Installation and Servicing
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction
• Create course content, update and improve courses
• Identify and advise for training needs of customers both internal and external
• Become a subject matter expert in GE Additive products
• Consult sales department on the customer’s training requirements
• Identify and connect with potential customers to drive sales

• Qualification as a LaserCUSING® Field Service Engineer (or LaserCUSING® Subject Matter Expert)
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, Pedagogy) or relevant work experience
• Training background (internal or external)
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time

• Team player
• Valid driver’s license
