JMC are seeking trainee and experienced Support Engineers with a background of working with military helicopters within the aerospace industry.

Duties will included but not be limited to –

·        Assisting with the production of customer instructions to support the aircraft.

·        The assessment, analysis and development of operational, engineering, maintenance and provisioning data.

·        The production of writing and amending technical manuals/documents relating to military helicopters.

·        The production of modification leaflets / service bulletins, provision of technical publications data from a variety of sources.

·        Compilation of technical data into both hard and soft copy.

 

My client will also provide on job training.

The successful candidate will hold working experience of at least three of the following –

·        Knowledge within the aerospace industry is essential.

·        Keyboard skills, a working knowledge of PC’s and computer system applications.

·        Have excellent interpersonal / written and spoken communication skills, the ability to make sound technical assessments/judgments based on knowledge and experience, self motivated and must be able to work as part of an integrated team.

·        Experience of military helicopters such as Seaking, Apache, EH101/Merlin, Lynx, Puma/Gazelle

·        Hold relevant experience in a related subject.

·        To have either worked within a technical publication area previously or will have amended/ written technical documents or manuals.

·        Experience of using technical publications or experience of writing / amending manuals / documentation associated with the aerospace industry is desirable.

·        Knowledge of AECMA Simplified English is desirable.

·        Experience in one or more of the following areas – Airframes, engines, hydraulics and transmission.

 

Basic Security clearance will be required for this position, this is not essential on initial application.
