The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 240 airlines or 84% of total air traffic. We support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry.
We help airlines to operate safely, securely, efficiently, and economically under clearly defined rules. Professional support is provided to all industry stakeholders with a wide range of products and expert services.
Qualifications and Skills
University degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or a business related field;
3 years’ experience in a business support function, preferably in a multicultural/commercial environment;
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly demanding environment while meeting tight deadlines;
Ability to set priorities, work with speed with a strong customer focus and a high level of energy and drive;
Excellent IT skills including MS office, especially Excel;
Excellent communications skills in English (written and spoken);
In addition, proficiency in one of the following languages is a must: French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Polish, Czech, Slovakian, Hungarian, Croatian, Slovenian, Serbian, Macedonian, Albanian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Russian, Kazakh, Turkmen, Georgian, Azeri, Ukrainian, Turkish or Hebrew.
