Role and Responsibilities

Requirements

KBR is currently seeking an experienced System Engineer for the
JTDI Deployed Applications Team with a working knowledge of Navy Shore, Navy
Ship, and Marine Corp MALS configurations. The Systems Engineer must be
customer focused in support of our warfighter mission and have a broad technical
knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 Operating System (OS), IIS,
Java and .NET based applications, and local area networks (LANS) with knowledge
of TCP/IP infrastructure. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for
the integration, configuration, test, deployment, and sustainment of the NAVAIR
Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) Delivery Management Service (JDMS)
product currently deployed at over 300 sites, camps, stations, shore, and ships
at CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.

The System Engineer III will maintain deployed JDMS software
components to include JKUpdate, JKReceive, JKSearch, and Microsoft IIS. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading,
troubleshooting, AStats monitoring JDMS software, and Information Assurance
(IA) support to maintain the deployed JDMS IA compliance.

Systems Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

Provide daily status situational
report (SITREP) information to deployed applications team lead

Participate in technical
interchange meetings (TIMs) to coordinate projects, schedule, and problem
resolution

Provide inputs to Deployed
Applications contractor team for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) submission

Provide feedback and make recommendations
for future upgrades and configuration changes

Maintain Security Technical
Implementation Guides (STIG) baseline for production instances of JDMS, Java,
.NET, and IIS

Review existing and new STIGs to
maintain IA compliance

Troubleshoot problems reported
by JDMS sites and analyze and isolate issues

Monitor Splunk/AStats log
analysis system to track system performance and health

Evaluate and modify application
performance setting to meet business needs

Leverage Service Desk ticketing
system track and document completed tasks

Support IA team Plan of Action
and Milestone (POA&M) requests and response

Qualifications

System Administrator Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree with 8 to 10 years relevant experience

Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2012 R2 and 2016

Specific experience with IIS 7.5 or greater

Experience with a variety of LAN switches and TCP/IP networking

Current Security + certification

Current Operating System (OS) certification

Secret clearance with SSBI or Top Secret Clearance (preferred)
