Requirements

KBR is currently seeking an
experienced Lead System Engineer for the JTDI Deployed Applications Team. The Lead
Systems Engineer must have a deep and broad knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Server 2012/2016 Operating System (OS), IIS, Java and .NET based applications, server
hardware, and local area networks (LANS) switches/routers with knowledge of
TCP/IP infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible leading a team of
system administrators responsible for the configuration, test, deployment, and
sustainment of the NAVAIR Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI) Delivery
Management Service (JDMS) product currently deployed at over 300 sites, camps,
stations, shore, and ships at CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.

The Lead System Engineer will design
and oversee local area networks, wide area networks, and network segments. Daily
tasks may include installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware.
The System Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating
systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, laptop, and
desktop PCs.

Systems Engineer Duties and
Responsibilities:

Provide daily
status situational report (SITREP) to government deployed application IPT lead

·
Conduct technical
interchange meetings (TIMs) to coordinate projects, schedule, and problem
resolution

·
Manage JDMS
deployment and integration project schedules and milestones

·
Support Change
Control Board (CCB) meetings

·
Provide
configuration and change management oversight for deployed applications

·
Support the CMPro
Change Manage System (CMS)

·
Ensure design of
system configuration allows integrated components to work properly together

·
Make
recommendations for future upgrades and configuration changes

·
Maintain Security
Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) baseline for production instances of
JDMS, Java, .NET, and IIS

·
Troubleshoot problems
reported by JDMS sites and analyze and isolate issues

·
Monitor
Splunk/AStats log analysis system to track system performance and health

·
Evaluate and
modify application performance setting to meet business needs

·
Leverage Service
Desk ticketing system to track and prioritize work assignments

Qualifications

System Administrator Requirements and
Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree
in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree with 8 to 10 years relevant experience

· Specific
experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2012 R2 and 2016, and Microsoft
Exchange Server 2013

· Specific experience
with IIS 7.5 or greater

· Experience with a
variety of LAN switches and TCP/IP networking Current Security + certification

· Current Operating
System (OS) certification

· Secret clearance
