Description:The successful candidate primary focus will be in advanced electromagnetic design and analysis; however, will also contribute to other multi-spectral signature reduction areas such as IR, visual, or acoustic. He or she will also analyze/generate signature models using a multitude of in-house software and engagement tools, and support aircraft testing. The candidate will support development of mesh models based off of CATIA V5 geometry for CFD analysis using Fluent/STAR-CCM. The successful individual will be working in a team/multiple discipline group environment to create suitable designs and techniques for multi-spectral signature reduction with a strong focus on RF/LO design and analysis. Experience in LO design and analysis is a plus.
The candidate must have the ability to obtain a final DOD Secret Clearance and Special Access Program access. Basic Qualifications - BS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, including Physics, or Mathematics with at least three years of experience. Electromagnetic or IR related course work is also desired.
Effective Team skills, strong oral communication, presentation, and written communication skills are required.
-Previous RF, radar, or LO materials experience is highly desirable.
-Understanding of basic RF principles and the basic physics of Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) sensors and observables.
-Computer programming experience and understanding of analytical/numerical solution of complex systems of equations.
-Familiarity with manipulation and processing of large datasets
