Execute sales strategy, maintain client relations and contact potential customers. Process RFQs and Quotations in a timely manner. Negotiate sales conditions, consult customers and offer suitable solutions to achieve agreed upon trading revenue and profit volumes. Assist customers in terms of all sales transaction related issues. Gain full market transparency on material availability, market pricing, competitors, regional differences and industry trends.


* Process aircraft component sales requests received via email / telephone and prioritize them according to several criteria (for example Aircraft on Ground/routine requirement, customer, price level, potential revenue)

* Check material availability via IT system and in consultation with the responsible departments. Pricing of requested components in consideration of internal data sources and the specific customer situation

* Negotiate sale conditions via email/telephone and consult customers according to their individual requirements; follow up on quotes and renegotiate to maximize sales success, prepare and solicit bids.

* Identify, develop and support key customers while continuously seeking new business opportunities. Assess risk parameters of new customers (for example creditworthiness, export control issues)

* Identify and select material sources in the market to loan, exchange and purchase aircraft parts for specific customer requirements, sourcing parts, materials and repair facilities for stock and/or sales

* Coordinate and process sales transactions, including monitoring material movements until delivery, invoice clarifications, ensuring the fulfillment of airworthiness certification requirements, resolving warranty claims.

* Support an optimized inventory management by maximizing revenue through trading of overstock inventory while ensuring material availability for contracted pooling customers by managing online inventory listings.

* Sales support including extensive research on hard to find parts, repairs manual research and tracking of exchanges and/or repairs

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


* B.A./B.S. from a four-year college or university; or eight (8) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


* Minimum of 2 to 5 years of parts brokerage experience of both airframe and powerplant, fixed and rotary wing

* Negotiating of pricing, prepare and solicit bids

* Purchasing and procurement with negotiated prices and lead times

* Sourcing parts, materials and repair facilities for stock and/or sales

* Sales support including extensive research on hard to find parts, repairs manual research and tracking of exchanges and/or repairs

* Knowledge of FAA / EASA regulations

* Knowledge and experience with Aviation IT Platforms

* Knowledge and experience with Regulations that apply to the sale of aircraft components

* Excellent communication skills required along with reading, writing and active listening.

* Must be a team player

* Must be able to use all technical data.

* Possess effective negotiation and closing skills.

* Possess strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.

* Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.

* Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management.

* Strong aircraft parts broker experience, component knowledge and experience with IPC, CMM, AMM, AD, SV and other technical publications

* Industry knowledge, existing relationships to Operators, MRO, OEM , Distributors

* Multilingual a plus

* Computer literal and hands-on experience with Aviation Platforms
