The Boeing Company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Entry-Level) in Tukwila, WA.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position will support the Boeing Global Services Inventory Planning and Asset Management team, to assist with daily asset management and order processing activities in support of domestic and international aircraft operations. This role will focus on ensuring maximum material availability and on-time-delivery of customer orders through use of Boeing inventory management systems, frequent interpersonal and electronic communication, and Excel-based analysis and planning.

This position will interact with a wide array of internal Boeing stakeholders, with potential for direct customer interaction as the individual’s experience, role, and responsibilities within the organization expand. Enthusiasm, a strong collaborative drive, and independent problem-solving skills are highly desired. May require moderate amounts of overtime during demanding periods or to support requirements from international customers in different time zones.

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

Support planning, organization, execution, and integration related to domestic and international aircraft sustainment supply chains.
Enter and track customer orders related to aircraft spares, repairs, modifications and retrofits. Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate delivery problem resolution. Assist in identifying customer issues for resolution or referral. Perform order close outs and assists with invoicing customers.
Work with engineering, program management, and field support team focals in order to validate customer requirements relative to aircraft configuration, sources of supply, and contractual statements of work.
Perform quantitative analysis to assess efficiency of supply chain, identify risks and issues, and provide
recommendations for optimizing execution.
Coordinate implementation of supply chain optimization solutions alongside other supply chain support functions in order to better meet customer requirements.
Assemble and present delivery performance metrics and variance analysis to internal stakeholders.
Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.
Coordinate with supply chain support functions to successfully import and export material between the U.S. and international countries in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Travel for work 10% of the time.

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

* Intermediate knowledge in all Microsoft Office suite applications including Excel and PowerPoint.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills,

* Ability to multi-task effectively

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
