Supply Chain Coordinator- Aerospace Hardware
Opportunity for a supply chain professional to provide tactical and strategic support with this leading provider of supply chain solutions for the global aerospace industry. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of a dedicated caseload of suppliers and customers, fulfilling the full cycle of supply chain activities in a timely and cost-effective manner, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Depending on your level of experience, you may also be supporting other colleagues, identifying / implementing improvements in operational procedures and participating in initiatives for supplier development. Additional activities include:
Liaising with customers
Timely undertaking of procurement transactions
Collaborating with colleagues in procurement
Ongoing assessments of supplier risk and compliance and taking appropriate action to notify supply chain management
Identifying initiatives to maximise profit, reduce waste and optimise inventory efficiencies.
You will have had hands on experience with ERP systems and a demonstrable ability to perform tactical procurement activities. Ideally you will have CIPS or will be working towards accreditation.
