Structural Technical Engineer/Inspector

Excel are currently seeking a Technical Engineer/Services professional with a focus on Airbus structural repair and overhaul for a contract based in France starting in September for up to 6 months.

Integrated into the structural technical office team, and reporting to the service manager, you will be responsible for preparing structural repair files during aircraft maintenance visits.

Responsibilities:

- Analysis and characterization of defects reported by production (mapping, etc.)

- Search for repair solutions in approved documentation (SRM, etc.) based on the defects observed

- Technical correspondence with manufacturers (Airbus couriers, etc.) in the context of specific repairs

- Analysis of repair solutions (plans, nomenclatures, etc.) and drafting of appropriate work cards (tasks, consumables, etc.)

The ideal person will have a solid knowledge of working with the Airbus family of aircraft having a good understanding and practical experience of working with Airbus SRMs, as well as a focus on inspecting various defects and knowing how to manage the repair and overhaul in relation to airworthiness directives.

Pay will be €45 per hour, for 45 hours per week with local apartment, flights at the start and end of contract and local rental car provided.

Please note that whilst you will be able to take a break for time off, there is no fixed rotation/shift for this contract.
