With the aim of strengthening our teams and providing our clients with the right talents, AKKA Middle East is looking for MECHANICAL STRESS ANALYST to work in the TURKEY.

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

  • Check input data provided by the customer
  • Verify and validate design data
  • Create or update if necessary Finite Element Model
  • DMU cleaning
  • Use of 0D, 1D, 2D & 3D topology and associated loads application
  • Application of general rules to ensure consistent results (mesh quality, refinement, mesh simplification, …) depending of stress analyses
  • FEM validation
  • Carry out analytical and numerical calculations for static assessment
  • Carry out analytical and numerical calculations for fatigue & damage tolerance assessment
  • Create validation records (justification, certification, ...)
  • Ensure stress data and stress reports self-check.
  • May be required to perform cross-checks.
  • Respect deadlines set by the customer
  • Ensure a good level of support as issuing proposals for technical problem solving
  • Respect and use procedures, manuals and tools provided by the customer.
  • Being a source of proposals for continuous improvement of its perimeter (Technical, Quality, ...)

Quality tasks :

  • Ensuring traceability of data input / output.
  • Ensure coherence between the Control Sheet / Application for Work / Data Studies
  • Ensure proper implementation and tracking tasks (complete the Checklist, form work, etc.)
  • Ensure the technical quality of his performance (Compliance methodologies techniques, procedures ...)
  • Apply procedures, manuals and tools provided by the customer.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of self-check.

 

PROFILE:

  • In a mechanical framework, we are looking for autonomous stress engineers specialized in:
  • Finite Element Model creation/modification of single to multibody mechanical structure mastering Metallic and/or composite material
  • Static strength assessment: you have knowledge on material behavior (linear or non-linear elastoplastic domain), stress sizing based on numerical analyses or analytical approach applying static stress process/method
  • Fatigue & damage tolerance assessment: you have knowledge on fatigue material behavior (Wohler curves, … ), fatigue life calculation based on rainflow/miner rules applying fatigue process/method
