Specific Job Description
Responsible for the accurate booking in and booking out of all items for stock, allocation to programme or repair. Maintaining accurate stock control records on the Company Asset Management Toolkit and its issue to Program Managers within LMUK RMS TLS.
To receive in all goods delivered to the company.
Carry out inspection of goods received - checking for damage to, quantity of and quality of items received and that all paperwork is accurate and correct.
To book in all goods received on to the computer system and correlating the items received to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled, process the Purchase Order on the Company’s Procure to Pay system.
To keep control of all stock parts and to maintain stock levels agreed by the Asset Manager.
To be responsible for the goods in / out / stores areas to comply with Health and Safety, Insurance requirements, and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way.
To maintain quality, batch control and traceability of all parts and to ensure the department operates to the quality manual.
To issue stock parts to Programmes as required and to update the system accordingly.
To complete regular stock checks weekly and quarterly as required.
To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the Programmes requirements.
To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer.
To liaise with the Program Manager to ensure that the Asset Management Request (AMR) process is completed.
To use the company IT infrastructure to maintain accurate records, movement of stock etc.
To keep the working area / stores clean and tidy free of hazards as per the company’s Health and Safety policy (as per the handbook and policy statement), reporting any potential dangers to the Asset Manager as soon as they arise.
Be prepared to undertake any internal/external training as required.
To be flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload.
To deal with despatches of freight both domestic and international in accordance with Programme requirements.
To undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company.
The role will not be authorized to provide services to Lockheed Martin, which are directly related to business development, acquisition, or sales efforts for a Lockheed Martin customer or potential customer. Any exception to this rule can only be granted, in advance, by the Lockheed Martin UK Business Practices representative or legal counsel representative.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
Good computer skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Full and clean drivers licence and Fork Lift Truck licence (counterbalance). SC Clearance.
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
Although not necessary it would be advantageous if qualified at IOSH Working Safely and First aid trained.
