Job Description :
Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is recruiting an experienced and motivated Staff Accountant to assist the Controller in day-to-day senior level accounting for multiple entities.
Responsibilities include:
- Month-end closing and reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Cash control
- Payroll processing with associated reporting
- Fixed asset management
- Audit requests
- Special projects as needed
Special consideration will be given to applicants with:
- knowledge of Ceridian Payroll and Visual Manufacturing
- Knowledge of GAAP and 404 requirements

Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree with one to three years related experience and/or training in accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be effective in a team structure
- Ability to work in a hands-on fast paced company
- Strong computer skills specifically in Excel and Word
