This position will support installation and checkout, site acceptance tests, and flight test events for various ground-based air surveillance radar programs. During these events, this individual will be responsible for engineering support of the radar, including BIT/PMFL troubleshooting, loading new software builds, and flight data analysis. Expected travel for this effort includes frequent international travel for up to two months for each test event including multiple test events per year. While not supporting test events, this engineer will be performing various Systems Engineering requirements locally, including: technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Position requires significant experience with either Radar design. Tasking includes system design and trade studies, RF chain analysis, and system performance analysis. Experience with RADAR Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required.
Model Based System Design, Test Automation, and Agile development experience preferred
