This position is responsible for the establishment and management of new and existing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating contract terms with suppliers, supply market intelligence capture, and supplier contract performance analysis and review.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Manage and maintain existing strategic supplier relationships.

Establish and conduct periodic contract performance reviews with strategic suppliers to ensure contract metrics are consistently met.

Develop new supplier relationships to broaden the scope of supply market coverage and knowledge.

Create process to capture and incorporate supply market intelligence into sourcing and supplier management processes.

Develop advanced knowledge of how to research and procure hard to find parts. Provide guidance to purchasing teams with respect to the implementation and execution of supplier contracts.

Liaison with the Value Stream Managers and other departments to ensure that forecast and replenishment plans are accurate

Ensure flow-down to suppliers of requirements from customer contracts

All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
