The LM2100 Bus Center of Excellence (CoE) supports several major initiatives by providing qualified embedded flight software to meet program needs out of a central organization. Ideal candidates for the organization are self-starters with a drive for continuous process improvement.
The LM2100 Bus CoE organization is looking for a Software Engineer to assist in the full life-cycle development of our spacecraft flight software solutions. The organization is currently supporting multiple flagship programs to include: GPSIIIA, GPSIIIF, and JCSAT-17.
Software Engineers on the team are expected to perform with minimal direction and are expected to take ownership of problems and drive solutions. Creative problem solving and an enthusiasm for software development are a requisite.
Most of the software is written for embedded Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS), so an understanding of RTOS concepts is required and a familiarity with VxWorks and/or Green Hills INTEGRITY is highly desired. Prior knowledge of the heritage A2100 or current LM2100 flight software architecture is also desired but not required.

Distributed Version Control System (Git, Mercurial, etc.)
