As a Software Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace, you will support the development of state-of-the-art flight critical embedded software for commercial aviation applications used in RF and VHF communication products. As an Application Software Engineering Intern you will be a part of an integrated cross-functional team helping to design, develop, and test software for communication products.

Education and Certifications:

* Candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science
* GPA of 3.0 or above is required
* Must be willing to work 40 hours per week starting in June of 2020

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience with Python, C, C++
* Ability to develop, document, test and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions.
* The desire to learn and perform in all phases of the software engineering life cycle including requirements analysis, software design, code development, integration, test, and documentation
* Have a willingness to apply a structured process to assignments
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
* Results-oriented
* Strong analytical skills
* Self-motivated and innovative

Basic Qualifications

* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
