Description:The chosen candidate will design, develop and test software products utilized in the development and/or refurbishment of ground support/test equipment. Perform software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements, analysis, unit test, integration and support to formal test and delivery. Participate in technical reviews and audits of software products.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance prior to start required for this role.
Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering with computer science or computer engineering studies from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with programming language such as Assembly, JAVA, C, C++ C#, Python, LABVIEW or LAB WINDOWS.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages or technologies: Java, C++, C#, Embedded Real Time software development, Digital Signal Processing, and Software Defined Radio. Candidate will have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration management tools such as git or subversion. Ability to read/follow schematics, use a handheld DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc. Experience with 1553 Bus Protocol and TCPIP. Experience with single board computers and real-time operating systems such as VxWorks a plus.
