As part of their ongoing success and growth, they are now seeking a Software Certification Engineer to join their forward-thinking team in Switzerland on a permanent basis. The current team is composed of highly experienced engineers, entrepreneurs, and managers, they are seeking a like- minded and talented professional who understands how to couple creativity and innovation with technical and business considerations.

You should already have gained experience working with aircraft safety critical software development and certification.

Location: Switzerland

Position Responsibilities

As a Software certification Engineer you will be responsible for software certification aspects, reporting directly to the CTO / Head of Electric Propulsion Systems. These responsibilities will include:

  • Define
 

    • Software coding process
    • Software requirements
    • Certification considerations
    • Software life cycle
    • Configuration management
    • Software verification and testing
 
  • Define Software project requirements
  • Manage project interface
  • Lead, coordinate and participate in the development of embedded software applications related to the Propulsion system
  • Software testing
  • Maintain detailed and meticulous documentation throughout entire process
Requirements

  • Experience in software development: Assembler, C, C++
  • Experience in aircraft safety-critical software development and certification
  • Good knowledge of DO 178B Standards
  • Education: Engineering degree in embedded software
  • 7-15 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through and bring projects to its completion
  • Target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities
  • Well organized including ability to properly document
  • Capacity to prioritize, manage time effectively and multi-task
  • Fluency in English, French an asset
