The Airfield Operations Senior Manager/Manager manages the team that oversees operational management in the aircraft movement areas (Runways, Taxiways and Apron) in Changi Airport. The Senior Manager/Manager (Airfield Operations) is responsible for enhancing runway and airfield safety while ensuring its continued operations round-the-clock. He/she works with the team to enforce runway and airfield safety regime including FOD control, procedural control, and incident management. Internally, the Senior Manager/Manager (Airfield Operations) collaborates with CAG’s Engineering and Development Division to ensure asset compliance in areas of runway, taxiway and apron; as well as with CAG’s other operational units to devise and execute expeditious operational recovery plans. The Senior Manager/Manager (Airfield Operations) also interfaces with external stakeholders such as Air Traffic Services, Ground Service Providers and all other airfield users to ensure airfield operational safety and efficiency.
The Senior Manager/Manager (Airfield Operations) is involved in key projects which concern the operationalisation of new airfield infrastructures such as Runway 3, and taxiway renaming; also providing operational inputs to other long-term future airfield development. As the overall in charge of the 24/7 Airside Management Centre, he/she leads the team to drive SOP formulation, resource planning, identification of core competencies, training and change management central to the progressive expansion of Airside Management Centre’s role in airfield operational management.
Good degree in any discipline with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Able to multi-task with good project management and interpersonal skills to engage key stakeholders
Proven track record in managing operational teams
Experience in airside operations and familiarity with the airfield will be advantageous
