Overview

Main point of contact for all compliance related processes. Assist the Director with defining and documenting policies and procedures related to the standards established by the business that comply with applicable external laws. Remain up to date on and be responsible for education of regulatory and legal employment requirements that can impact the organization, and ensuring any updated information is shared timely with relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of HR programs/initiatives and assist with onboarding compliance matters.
  • Manage employee records retention and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data analysis and provide requested data to appropriate parties as requested.
  • Liaise with Internal Audit & outside counsel on testing of HR controls providing requested data timely and accurately.
  • With limited oversight, analyze internal data and conduct research and analysis on best practices and industry standards to identify trusted methods for fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve COVID-19 employee cases of exposure, positives, illness/symptoms through phone calls, email, and other communication platforms as necessary
  • Discern when to elevate complex situations to supervisor for further guidance.
  • Ensure the HR Compliance processes and controls are effectively managed.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality and ensure that all information is collected in concordance with local data privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Provide support to the TA and HRBP teams in review and approval of non-LOA exemption requests.
  • Assist with creating, updating, maintaining Company policies, guidelines, and handbook pertaining to employee health and safety programs.
  • Provide assistance with employee relations issues, including investigations and resolving conflicts as requested.
  • Other projects as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Must have five or more years of experience in Human Resources involving compliance, auditing, regulatory matters, and Generalist experience
  • High level of proficiency with use of computers, MS Office software, and mobile devices

 

 

  • Ability to assess, diagnose, plan, and execute while proactively involving the appropriate parties
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications, presentation and project management skills
  • Process oriented with attention to detail and committed to excellence
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of identity and other data to maintain privacy of all individuals
  • Ability to interact in a non-judgmental manner with culturally diverse populations and persons experiencing a wide range of social conditions
  • Strategic, critical thinker with problem-solving skills, who can execute tactically while maintaining view of long-term goals and department objectives
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to client issues and concerns
  • A change agent with the ability to flex and execute in spite of changing environments
  • Ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels; establishing and maintaining collaborative professional relationships
  • Strong time management skills (organization, prioritization, multitasking)

Preferred:

  • Confidence and efficiency in communicating at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce system

 

Salary Range: $68,600- $92,600

 

Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates
