General responsibilities of the position: As a Senior Financial Analyst of financial planning and analysis, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to management, working closely with the head of global FP&A and his leadership team. The Senior Financial Analyst will have responsibility to lead analytical needs of a worldwide organization. The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships with business partners throughout the organization and present accurate, timely financial insight to FP&A manager and senior executives within the organization.
Specific responsibilities of position: •Contribute to the overall process for the development of the five-year strategic plan, the annual budget and periodic forecast updates;
•Support the consolidation, analysis and assessment of the P&L Statements by monitoring the actual financial performance against the annual budget, five-year strategic plan and periodic forecasts;
•Prepare financial reporting presentations (Five-year plan, Annual budget, Quarterly Operations Review).
Qualifications required: -Bachelor’s degree with 7 to 10 years’ experience as a business unit accountant for a medium to large company and/or an accounting firm;
-CPA title mandatory;
-Outstanding communication skills in English (oral and in writing mandatory) and proficient French (asset);
-Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory, SAP a strong asset;
-Ability to sustain a high level of pressure in a fast paced environment;
-Adaptable, autonomous with a positive attitude.
