This position is for an entry-level Electrical and Electronics professional who troubleshoots technical and electrical device problems, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects. This individual will perform electrical engineering work specific to Power Conversion. This work requires knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments under direct technical supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead specific technical assignments during investigation, design, or tests that require analysis and evaluation, selection and application of basic engineering principles, theories, and techniques.
* Participate in the investigation, development, and testing of product where overall operational, space, functional, and similar design requirements have been specified.
* Design or select available designs to meet requirements.
* Generate, review and update the technical content of drawings, engineering specifications, reports, and other documents associated with the engineering process.
* Engage in troubleshooting test related issues on the manufacturing floor.
* Give technical directions and instruction in the form of assignment objectives, alternative approaches and solutions to junior engineering personnel and/or contract laborers.
* Instruct and/or direct the work of technicians as assigned.
* Prepare charts, diagrams, and reports expressing technical progress and accomplishments measured against specific plans.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Education:

* Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

* Power Supply/Systems Design
* Analog Circuit Design
* Digital Circuit Design
* FPGA development
* PSPICE or equivalent analog circuit simulation tool experience
* Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and PCB design
* Proficient in circuit active and passive devices
* Team player and resourceful in achieving goals
