SUMMARY OF POSITION

  • Responsible for daily oversight of the Crewing Team in conjunction with the Team Leader. The Senior Crewing Officer plans and executes the flight crew requirements for all flights ensuring this is done swiftly, accurately and in accordance with all the relevant regulations and safety requirements. The Crewing Team are the primary source of scheduling for the flight crews as well as the primary provider of daily crewing information to the flight crew. The Senior Crewing Officer combines the need for crew training and FTL’s with the normal operational schedule and interfaces with the CAM, Ground Operations, CSR team and Crew training department. This role includes supervising of team members, organizing and arranging necessary documentation and services for the crew, effective communication with crew and other departments and monitoring compliance with regulatory and company operational standards. 5 years aviation scheduling experience is necessary and work pattern is on shift basis’

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Maintain crew schedule for all crew members and aircraft.

  • Collect, accurately record and verify all crew duty data

  • Control of Company essential documents

  • Provide immediate and effective resolution to any crewing issues as and when they arise

  • Crew all flights in the most efficient, safe way in accordance with aviation regulation 

  • Effectively react to changing operational scenarios using limited crew resources

  • Assign unscheduled crew duties in accordance with the company flight and duty limitations

  • Implement Company scheduling agreements and FTL variations

  • Ensure crew duty assignments are in accordance with FTL regulations and variations as approved by the Regulatory Authority

  • Responsible for regulatory audits for compliance to legal crew duty and rest regulations

  • Managing flight crew leave allocation and training in conjunction with CAM and Crew Training department to ensure an efficient flying programme

  • Provision of monthly pilot duty report to Head of Ground Operations

  • Forecast crew requirement based on additions or changes to the daily flying programme

  • Assuring that flight crew members are certified, qualified, trained and meet currency requirements in accordance with the relevant regulations and Company SOPs.

  • Facilitate crew visa applications 

  • Conduct aircraft RFD/FTL audits on a monthly basis, issuing any non-compliance NCR’s

  • Prepare and submit CAA reports, quarterly, monthly and yearly. 

  • Submit Cosmic Radiation reports, checking that no crew member has exceeded the legal exposure limits.

  • Main point of contact for all crew travel queries

  • Liaise with TAG Global Training, Flight Operations, Crew Training and H.R. for any ad-hoc travel requests

  • Ensuring crew hours and information is kept up to date on third party websites for charter flights i.e. Wyvern

  • Responsible for maintaining the company Airline Loyalty schemes 

  • Investigate any complaints or queries and respond in a timely and informative manner

  • Provide a daily written and verbal handover (to who)

  • Supervision and coaching of Crew Team

  • Create and deliver training courses for the FTL schemes to all other departments

  • Continuous monitoring and developing of departmental local procedures  

  • Attend monthly meetings with CSR, Charter, Ground Ops and Crew Records Managers

  • Any other duties as reasonably required in order to successfully fulfil job role

  • Deputise for Team Leader in his/her absence

  • Ensuring Company SOP compliance, safety and SPIRIT values are always adhered to
