Position Description

The Sales Manager who has proven track record of success in aerospace, OEM, MRO markets. Plating and metal finishing experience a plus. Responsible to maintain and grow business to meet profit and sales growth by utilizing market intelligence to identify target customer. Understand customer requirements by providing One Stop Shop solutions and serve as primary account contact to customer. This position reports to the General Manager.
Position Requirements

•Develops strong relationships with new and existing customer base.
•Utilizes end user marketing insights and prospects to generate opportunities.
•Engages customer contact to understand their business needs and identify areas for improvement.
•Communicates and provide customer feedback to management.
•Participates in sales and development programs.
•Participates in sales forecast; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new customers.
•Strong understanding of capabilities to promote One Stop Shop solutions.
•Create quotes using pricing workbook.
•Manages sales pipeline to ensure growth.
•Responsible for driving incremental sales growth on base customers.

Self-starter with 10+ years of outside sales experience calling on national and regional major accounts.
Proven ability to develop customer relationships and close new business deals.
Ability to drive short term revenue opportunities for the company through existing relationships.
Knowledge of aerospace, OEM and MRO.
Experience with metal finishing, plating and coating technologies is a plus.
Familiarity with machining, calling on machine shops and manufacturing customers.
Experience with regional jet carriers helpful. Specific engineering background desired.
Solid analytical skills – must work with Finance team to establish proper financial modeling for new business opportunities and have the ability to perform margin analyses on your customers.
Proven ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment – combine a sense of urgency with a very “hands-on" approach to doing things.
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Relentless desire to attain your goals and be a true team player.
Proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required, Oracle a plus.
