My client provides integrated software solutions as well as technical and backoffice services for aircraft and engine operators, lessors and MROs. They require a highly experienced Sales Executive in Dublin, Ireland.
This position leads large, highly visible new business acquisition campaigns and growth of existing business. Responsible for selling products or services directly to end users, airline lessors, or through other channels. Responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing and closing contracts for assigned products and services.
·Identifies, qualifies and closes large, highly visible, complex sales to new and existing customers.
·Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities. Documents and communicates the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders.
·Leads and executes campaigns for assigned accounts in compliance with defined business acquisition processes.
·Leverages resources and knowledge of client products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
·Prepares or oversees the production of proposals and negotiates contracts for management approval.
·Develops and communicates the status of strategic opportunity plans to the applicable leaders.
·May participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and other events to keep abreast of industry developments and seek potential customers. Delivers presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.
·Leads gate reviews of program opportunities, assisting the business in making the right investment and business decisions.
·May have a leadership role mentoring other sales professionals.
Ideal candidate’s profile:
·Strong background from selling complex IT and/or consulting solutions to large customer organizations
·Experience in creating and promoting business cases which are anchored to a thorough understanding of customer requirements
·Previous Airline/Aviation Leasing experience is preferred
·Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external groups
·Can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty
·Strong business acumen and experience in closing profitable multi-million contracts
·Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels, including C-level at fortune 500 companies
·Knowledge of aviation, airline operations and software lifecycles
·Strong verbal and written communication skills, being bi-lingual is a strong merit
·Based: Dublin, Ireland
·Salary: C€72,500 + Commission
