Sales Engineer - Reading
This is an opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join an industry leading business who are both forward thinking and proactive.
In this role the Sales Engineer will be working with the internal and external sales teams to discover, qualify and close opportunities and you also act as the internal technical resource for customers and support internet leads to ensure all leads are routed to the right sales channel. You will be expected to prepare commercial and technical proposals as required to win business.
- A technical background is required, preferably at Degree level - but at least HNC level or equivalent in Electronics, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Significant experience of working with customers with great commercial awareness and sensitivity would be desirable but it is not essential
- A deep understanding of technical products is required, and the ability to be able to quickly learn a wide variety of new technical skills, especially with regard to electronic-based products, and data transmission
- Must possess good communications skills, understand timescales and deadlines.
